Obituary For Cheri Ann Even
In Loving Memory of Cheri Ann Even
Forever in Our Hearts
Cheri Ann Even, born March 26, 1966, in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Bradenton, Florida, passed from this life leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories with the people who meant the most to her.
Cheri was a strong and spirited woman whose personality filled a room. She carried herself with confidence and determination, yet those who knew her best saw the deeply caring and loyal heart behind that strength. Cheri was truly a people person — she had a natural way of connecting with others, making them feel welcome, and leaving them smiling after every conversation.
She had a special love for children and always enjoyed being around them. Her playful nature, warm personality, and sense of humor made her someone kids gravitated toward naturally.
Cheri found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved brownies, pretzels, and a cold Slurpee. She also loved the carnival — the lights, the laughter, and the community that surrounded it. Many wonderful memories were made alongside her beloved wife, Cheryl Hood-Daniel. For 27 years they shared a life filled with love, partnership, and adventure. Together they traveled to football games, fireworks displays, and parades, often working side by side selling fireworks and enjoying the lively atmosphere that came with it. Cheri had a gift for talking with people and was known for being especially good at selling fireworks — something she truly enjoyed doing.
Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Ann Sellers and David Joseph Even.
She is survived by her loving wife, Cheryl Hood-Daniel; her siblings, Joseph Even and Carie Zapata; four nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews who will forever carry her memory with them.
Cheri will be remembered for her strength, her big personality, her love for people, and the loyalty she showed to those closest to her. The memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Though she may no longer be here with us, Cheri’s spirit will always remain — in the stories told, the memories shared, and the love that will never fade.
