Obituary For David Lee Proulx

David Lee Proulx, 74, of Valrico, FL, son of Dorothy and Blaise Proulx, passed away peacefully at home on January 16th, 2026. Born on November 25th, 1951 in Burbank, CA. David was a beloved husband, stepfather, and grandfather. He lived a life defined by by humor, faith, and kindness and was deeply loved by all who knew him.

David spent many years as a professional chef and took great joy in cooking for others, especially his family. His presence brought comfort, laughter and guidance to those around him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family.

He is survived by his wife Darcey, his sister Sherri, his stepchildren Sandra and Oscar, and his grandchildren Dudleiska, Kiara, and Kordell.

A memorial will be held on February 5th, 2026, at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Services.

Dave will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

    Deepest condolences to Darcey and family, Got to know David and Darcey through church, and they were truly a special couple. It has been a blessing to have known David and share in his many stories. He was truly inspirational and had an infectious sense of humor. David and I liked to share recipe's and favorite restaurants to eat. God has received a great chef to assist at the Heavenly buffet table. God Bless the entire family Dominic and Darlene Michele
