Born and raised in the heart of Tampa, Florida, to Panzola Davis and Hosea Grace Jr. Del carried the values of family, faith, and service throughout her life. Her journey was one marked by dedication—not only to her work but to the people she loved most. For 20 years, Del served Hillsborough County school transportation with diligence and care. Her commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of countless children reflected her nurturing spirit and her belief in the importance of every role, no matter how humble, in shaping a better world. Del’s life was a living testimony to her faith. She walked with grace, spoke with kindness, and lived with purpose. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought wisdom, and her prayers brought peace. It was clear to all who knew her that God’s light shone through her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in her children, Nicholas Grace and Ariana Madir, and in the hearts of her siblings— Hosea, Cherry, Barbra, and Debra—as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended friends who cherished her deeply. Though she has been called home to rest, Del’s spirit remains with us—in every act of kindness, every moment of grace, laughter and every memory shared.
