In Loving Memory of Dolores Lee Patton

Dolores Lee Patton, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, nurse, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on June 19, 1947, and spent her life caring for others with kindness, compassion, and an unwavering giving spirit.

Dolores dedicated decades of her life as a Registered Nurse at the VA Hospital, where she cared for countless veterans with the same devotion and warmth that she showed to her own family. Nursing was more than a profession to her—it was a calling. Even when age made it difficult for her to safely continue working, she would have gladly continued serving others if she could.

Family was the center of Dolores's world. She was wife to Noel Patton. She was the proud mother of three daughters: Ashley Patton, Allison Boniface, and Jennifer Kirchmeier. She was a loving grandmother to Sarah Tyler, Brandon Tyler, Brittany Quebedeaux, Zahara Allen, Zayden Patton, and Zaniyah Patton and a cherished great-granddaughter to Mila Tyler.

Dolores found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing Bingo, cooking delicious meals, and gathering family together for holidays. Her kitchen was always full of love, laughter, and enough food to feed an army. No one ever left her table hungry.

Though distance sometimes kept family members apart, Dolores stayed closely connected through long phone conversations that could last well over an hour. She treasured those talks and often ended them with her trademark humor, joking that her hand was "going to fall off" from holding the phone.

Dolores will be remembered for her generous heart, her dedication to helping others, her sense of humor, and the deep love she had for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. Her legacy of compassion and selflessness lives on in all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life for Dolores Lee Patton will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Brandon Cremation & Funeral Services. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering a woman whose kindness, generosity, and love touched so many lives. She will also have services at a later date at Bellwood Memorial Cemetery in Temple, TX. Date to be determined.
