Obituary For Doyle Webb Brown

Doyle Webb Brown, 81, of Tampa Florida passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025. He was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1943, to the late Charles Brown and Violet Clarity Brown. In addition to his mom and dad, he is preceded in death by his brothers William and Charles.

Doyle proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his wife Lorraine, his son Jack, his daughter Patti and her husband Keith, his daughter Jordan, her husband James and his grandson James Patrick. Doyle is also survived by his sister Sally, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and fur babies.

Doyle enjoyed the Florida weather; he had a green thumb and he was an animal lover. He lived out his final 3 years under the compassionate care of his daughter Patti and her husband Keith.

Special acknowledgements of gratitude to the geriatric team at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, Hillsborough County Aging Services and a village of wonderful friends and neighbors who all warmly helped to care for him in any way that they could. His passing was without suffering.

It was Doyle's wish to be cremated without formal funeral service and left to rest in his daughter Patti's care. It was also his wish, in lieu of flowers, to please send donations to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, 3607 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL 33607 (humanesocietytampa.org)

Forever in our hearts, may he rest in eternal peace.

I met Doyle earlier this year when I was visiting Patti & Keith (who is my brother). Doyle & I had some lovely conversations about the British dramas he watched avidly on PBS, & when he commented on a particular actor or actress I recommended other programmes he or she was in that he might enjoy. My thoughts are with Patti & Keith, & of course Doyle's other family members.

Patti, please accept my deepest condolences. I recall the first time I met your dad in the hospital and sadly thinking that he would not be returning back home. Boy, was I wrong. You and Keith gave him almost three amazing years of love, support, and kindness. I saw you nurse your dad back to health and he was happy with you and Keith; caregiving is not easy and you handled it with such ease and grace. You were a fierce advocate for your father and rearranged your entire life to care for him in his final season. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to meet such an amazing, happy, handsome, and funny man. May he rest in eternal peace. Love, Karla

We were truly blessed to have the opportunity to be your caregivers for almost three years. We will miss the daily shenanigans. Never a burden, always a gift.
