Ediltrudes “Concha” Garcia, of Tampa, 82, passed away on March 31, 2026. She was born June 23, 1943, in Santiago, Cuba. She became a proud citizen of the United States May 25, 1993. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor. She is survived by her children Gonzalo Garrido (Sandra) of Wimauma, Florida, Amparo Vega of Tampa, Florida, Leticia Lantigua of Tampa, Florida, and Miguel Lantigua (Jamie) of Mulberry, Florida, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She loved to cook and take care of her plants and trees. She also took in any stray dog that came into her yard. She will always be remembered as a loving Abuela and will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life, followed by prayer service, will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday April 17, at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Services, 106 Rolling Hills Boulevard, Valrico, Florida. Light refreshments will be served.
