Obituary For John Richard Masalko II

John Richard Masalko II 64 of Valrico, Florida, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 27th,2026. John started his life in Canton, Ohio. Born to the late Judith Brown(Klever) and John Masalko. After graduating from Timken High School, John lived, worked and started a family in the Canton area. In 2014 John relocated with his family to Florida where he was planning on retiring with Penske. John was a lover of all things sports and on any given Saturday during football season,you could find him rooting on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. John also loved spending time with his family and friends and planning their next sail at sea on a cruise ship. John is survived by his loving wife Karen of 38 years. His children John Masalko III, Crystal (Kenny) Weaver, Jason Oleskey,and Mike Swayne. Siblings Steve Masalko, Mike Masalko,Carrie Masalko, Jim (Leslie) Brown, Mark Brown, Dan Brown, and Dan Johnson. 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Per John's wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers,family and friends wishing to donate to the family may due so.

    I am so very sorry to hear this of John's passing, what a total shock ~ I remember the good old days when he would visit my grandma who was his aunt and the laughter and stories ~ May he rest in peace and be joined with his mother and father✝️
