In Loving Memory of Karen Gladys Amores

July 17, 1945 – July 13, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Karen Gladys Amores on July 13, 2025, just days shy of her 80th birthday. Karen was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness, warmth, and love.

Born on July 17, 1945, Karen led a life filled with compassion, joy, and a deep sense of family. She was known to be a devoted fan of the New York Yankees. Her greatest joy was always her daughter, Kimberly Amores, and her grandchildren, Justin Hixson and Adrian Alfonso. Karen was a loving and supportive mother to Kimberly, who is married to Kevin Hixson. She will be dearly missed by her immediate family, extended family, and friends, all of whom were fortunate to know her.

Karen’s legacy of love, generosity, and strength will never be forgotten. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Services, located at 106 Rolling Hills Blvd, Valrico, FL 33594. We invite all who knew Karen to come and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

She will forever remain in our hearts.
