Libardo Colorado, 98, a resident of Seffner, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2025.

Libardo was born in Jardín, Colombia, to Sylvestre Colorado and Dolores Lopez and was one of six siblings. He immigrated to the United States in 1963 with his beloved wife, Luzmila Blandon Colorado, and their five children. While living in Buffalo, New York, he enjoyed working as a machinist at Chevrolet, and in 1970, the Colorado family moved to Florida.

He was a lover of all creatures great and small. In his spare time, Libardo enjoyed tinkering and was known for his knack at fixing the unfixable. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and granddogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Libardo is survived by his wife of 72 years, Luzmila, and his five children: Carlos Colorado (Kim), Astrid Stenger (Gary), Nicolas Colorado (Kathleen), Leon Colorado, and Dorian Colorado-Saponara (John). Librardo is also survived by his ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Services will be held on December 27th at St. Francis of Assisi in Seffner at noon.
