Michael Deen Bailey, 59, of Dover, Florida, passed away on April 19, 2026.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Katie Bailey, his six children: sons Brett Bailey, Jonathan Bynum, Noah Bailey, and Tucker Bailey; daughters Ivy Bynum and Sailor Bailey; and his siblings: brother Jeffrey Bailey and sisters Cheryl Stout and Tori Fisher. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Julian “Goofus” Bailey and Rosemary Hazelwood and brother Preston Spain III. Michael will be remembered as a devoted husband, a dedicated father, and a steady, guiding presence in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Michael was a proud Navy veteran who carried a deep sense of duty and honor throughout his life. Following his service, he built a respected career as an air conditioning and compressor mechanic, known for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.

In addition to his professional life, Michael had a passion for flying and found joy in the freedom of being a pilot. He was a man who valued hard work and precision, but above all, he was devoted to his family.

His legacy of service, craftsmanship, and love for his family will live on.
