Obituary For Sara Lynn Tillman

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is now home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she faithfully loved and served throughout her life.

She was the devoted wife of Richard Tillman, an Air Force wife who proudly stood beside her husband through every season of military life. Together they built a family grounded in faith, love, and compassion.

She leaves behind her loving son, Nathan Tillman and his wife, Catherine; her daughter, Tasha Berg and her husband, Brent Coons; and her beloved granddaughter and adopted daughter, Meagan Williams and her husband, Darrell Williams.

She was a proud grandmother to James and Lewis Tillman and a deeply cherished great-grandmother to Jada and Deklen Williams. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family. She loved fiercely, prayed faithfully, and made each of us feel deeply loved.

Her faith in Christ was the center of her life. She was well known and respected throughout the Christian community and had a true heart for serving others through missionary work. She didn’t just talk about God’s love—she lived it every day through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion.

She had a beautiful gift for creativity. Whether she was painting, crafting, or singing, she poured her whole heart into everything she did. She also spent many years caring for children, touching countless lives with her patience, warmth, and gentle spirit. To so many, she became a second mother and a source of comfort and encouragement.

She will be remembered for her warm smile, her beautiful singing voice, her artistic talent, and the way she always made room for one more person at the table. She celebrated life’s joys, carried others through their hardships, and never stopped believing in God’s goodness.

Although we will miss her every single day, we are grateful for the love she gave so freely and the example she set for all of us. Her faith, strength, and gentle heart will continue to live on in the family she loved so deeply and in everyone whose life she touched.

Until we meet again, we will carry your love in our hearts and cherish the memories you gave us. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
