Beda DeLaPaz May 27, 1930 - October 25, 2021 Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend Beda DeLaPaz, a long time resident of Tampa, Florida, who was born on May 27, 1930 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, passed on October 25, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was the powerhouse glue that kept the family together. A homemaker, disciplinarian, money manager and fierce protector of her loved ones. A good woman who managed to successfully raise 6 children and care for an ill husband most of her adult life. Beda was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Wilfredo, and is survived by 6 children: Alba DeLaPaz-Hernandez, Beda DeLaPaz-Koorey, Rosemarie DeLaPaz-Hernandez, Betty DeLaPaz-Toro, Idalia DeLaPaz-Smith, Wilfred DeLaPaz; 10 grandchildren: Sabrina, Tanya, Alana, Willie, Vanessa, Amanda, Lisa, Jaclyn, Belinda, Wilfredo (Bubba); 12 great-grandchildren: Andres, Cristian, Mireya (Bella), Giovanni, Ian, Lia, Trinity, Faith, Amaya, Sierra, Evan, Jisela; and 2 great-great grandchildren: Denali and Mateo.
