Claudia Sue Arnold,

Claudia Sue Arnold, 82 06/12/1940 – 1/09/2023 Passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2023. Claudia was born on June 12, 1940 in Marine City, MI to parents,Theodore Topa and Clydie (Randall) Topa. She married Junior F Arnold in Traverse City MI on June 16, 1973. They had one daughter, Jo Ann Marie Arnold. Claudia worked at J&S Hamburger,Target and Arnold Amusements. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Junior, brothers in law, George Arnold, Lester “Pudge” Arnold and Ivan Arnold and a sister in law Edith (Willy) Compton. Surviving are daughter Jo Ann Arnold (Dennis Travioli) of Gibsonton Fl., son Billy Arnold of Arkansas, granddaughters, Alexis Stand (Alex), of Onsted, MI, Ashley Arnold of Georgia, Leslie Arnold of Texas, grandson Spencer Travioli (Kennedy) of Adrian, MI. Six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. After retiring in 2008, she moved to Florida to be closer to her daughter Jo Ann. Claudia lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed playing bingo, pull tabs, the casino and watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She was blessed to go on many travel adventures with her daughter and family. She was a gold card member of the International Independent Showmens Association in Riverview Florida. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Riverview at the Showmens Club on February 9, 2023, at 6:00 pm. Final burial will be with her husband Junior in Traverse City, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Special Needs Christmas Party at the International Independent Showmens Club in Riverview, FL where she was affectionately known as “Aunt Claudia or Jo Ann’s Mom”.
