James Dean Bathe

James Dean Bathe December 28, 1955 - November 22, 2021 Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend James (Jimmy) Dean Bathe was born December 28. 1955 to Lewis and Loretta (Wilson) Bathe, in Vincennes, Indiana. Jimmy was always a cheerful and likable child. He demonstrated kindness to others and saw himself as the protector of his younger siblings. He attended Harrison Elementary School in Vincennes Indiana until his family moved to Florida. Jimmy never lost sight of his origins. He enjoyed visiting his grandparents in Vincennes and his cousins. He was faithful in maintaining contact with his extended family and always demonstrated love to them. He married Brenda Montgomery on May 21, 1976. She was the love of his life. He was grateful to God for her everyday of his life. She survives. They had two sons. Brian (wife Aine Sturgeon) and Jonathan (Jon Jon) who proceeded him in death. In addition he was very proud of his grandsons, Brayden and Nathan. He also leaves behind his sisters Susan and Kay, also his brother Charles Bathe. Jim was proud of his ancestry and they assured the family linage would go on. Jim was proud to be a member of the Teamsters' Union and worked for 20+ years at Consolidated Frieghtway. Jim was a avid Tampa Bay Bucs and Nascar #48 Jimmie Johnson fan. He daily built a life for his family and was an example of sacrifice and service. He was proceed in death by his parents, his sister Tammy and his older brothers, Francis and Robert. Jim was very much loved and will not be forgotten. On December 11th 2021 service will be held at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Home. 621 N. Parsons Ave Brandon Fl. A celebration of his life will be from 12 to 1pm and a gathering and fellowship and hour prior 11 to 12.
