Joyce Hope Iovine

Joyce Hope Iovine April 11, 1941 - December 19, 2021 Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. Joyce Hope Iovine passed away on Sunday, December 19 surrounded by her family. Joyce grew up in New Jersey and spent most of her life there. In her younger years, she was an award winning equestrian who loved the sport of dressage and jumping. She was an amazing horse trainer and loved spending time with them. Joyce loved all animals big or small. She also had a love for art. She was extremely talented. Everyone that knew her, saw her talents and were always impressed by her masterpieces. She was a true artist and master seamstress who created beautiful dresses and clothing, amazing drawings and paintings and most of all extremely creative crafts. Joyce worked as a telephone switchboard operator for many years and later worked as a quality control inspector for the manufacturing of children’s clothes. This led to her traveling all over the Caribbean, a place she called a home away from home. She loved spending her free time sewing, painting, traveling, and making beautiful crafts. She was a loving and caring person that would do anything to help others. Joyce will surely be missed and never forgotten. Joyce was predeceased by her loving husband, Ciro Iovine, her son Vincent Iovine and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Raimondo, son-in-law Philip Raimondo, her 3 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Barbara Iovine, sister Gaye Parise and sister Sandra Giovine. Joyce requested a Celebration of Life be held instead of a traditional funeral. We will be holding a Celebration of Life at the residence of her daughter, Lisa Raimondo in Valrico, FL on Sunday, January 23 at 2pm.
