Lane Michael Wyly August 2, 1989 - October 24, 2021 Loving husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend Lane Michael Wyly of Plant City, Florida, age 32 passed away on October 24, 2021. Everyone loved Lane. Strangers opened up to him like they were long lost friends. He loved music and knew the words to every song imaginable. He was always willing to sing to you or dance with you, and he had an amazing voice. He was goofy and could make anyone laugh. Lane is survived by his wife of four years, Catherine. His parents, Joseph and Terrie Wyly, his siblings Eric Blanton (Rachel), Jason Blanton (Amber), and Brandi Walmsley (Craig); his grandparents Joseph and Iris Wyly, and Mary Henderson; and his niece and nephews Harper, Hunter, Elijah, and Jayden. Lane is preceded in death by his grandmother Nancy Capps. A memorial service for Lane will be held on Thursday, November 4th at 11am at St Stephen Catholic Church located at 10118 St Stephen Cir in Riverview. For those that cannot make it, the church will be livestreaming the service on their Facebook page St Stephen Catholic Church and on their website at https://ststephencatholic.org/broadcasts . In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lane’s memory can be made to the Florida Chapter of Jensen’s Heart of Gold Foundation, Metropolitan Ministries, or St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
