Mamie Louise Smith 10/11/1956 - 03/08/2024 Mrs. Mamie Louise Smith (Tootsie) was born October 11, 1956 in High Point, North Carolina.  At the age of 9 she moved to Tampa, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Smith. She is survived by her mother Carol Edwards, brothers Joey Edwards and Hillary Edwards, sister Callie Zuidema, son Richard Snipes and daughter Amanda Perdue, granddaughter Haley Snipes and grandson Zane Rivera.  Her role as mother is fondly emphasized by her unconditional love, strength and generosity.  Mamie was big hearted and vibrant, a radiating light.  She was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening.  She will be missed immensely by all that had the pleasure to know her.
