Rickie Thomas Baxter Sept 28, 1953 – June 5, 2021 Obituary for Rickie Thomas Baxter Rickie Thomas Baxter Seffner, Florida-Rickie Thomas Baxter, 67, passed away on June 5 th , 2021 after a short illness. He recently relocated to Florida from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born in Massena, NY, he was the son of the late Howard and Jeanine Baxter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and his sister, Cindy. Rickie’s education included a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from VCU/MCV and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. Rickie’s pharmacy career of over 35 years included retail pharmacy, leadership roles in managed care pharmacy, helping the underserved population of pharmacy at community health centers, and managing pharmacy operations with insurance carriers. Following a successful career in pharmacy, he transitioned into real estate with licenses in Virginia and North Carolina. This career move allowed him to continue to focus on his passion to help others. To cherish his memories are brothers, Robert Lee Baxter and wife, Jane, of New York (with children Amanda and Eric), Martin Bruce Baxter and wife, Maureen, of Seffner, Florida (with nephew Adam Baxter, son of the late Cindy Baxter). He is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time special friends . Rickie requested to be cremated in Florida along with a future memorial service that will be held alongside his wife at the Outer Banks in North Carolina (date undetermined). Memorial donations on his behalf may be made to Catholic Charities. Loved by so many and missed by all who knew him.
