Robert Michael Taylor 08/14/1952 - 11/30/2023 Robert Taylor, a 7 th generation native of Tampa, Florida, passed peacefully with family under hospice care on November 30, 2023, at the age of 71. Robert is survived by his mother, Shirley Taylor; his wife, Carol; his daughter, Kristi Taylor; his grandchildren, Mikey and Domi Sciuto, and their father Mike; his sister Kathy Olsen, husband Jim, nieces Dainya Miller and Tiffany Dimaio and their families; and his brother (and best friend) Timmy Taylor, wife Patti, niece Kayla Stanley, husband Josh, and their daughters Marybelle and Mackenzie. He is predeceased by his father, Calvin Taylor, and his nephew, Dustin Alderman. Robert was born in Tampa on August 14, 1952, to Calvin and Shirley Taylor. He graduated with an associate degree from Hillsborough Community College. On May 10, 1975, he married his high school sweetheart, Carol. On May 21, 1985, he welcomed his daughter Kristi, who was the most important part of his life. For the past 15 years, he worked for Electric Supply as an Inside Industrial Sales Representative. Robert was a devoted son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend to many. He was an avid fisherman frequenting his most favorite spots, Lake Kissimmee and Boca Grande. He was a huge fan of Nascar, drag racing, and football, especially the Florida Gators and Buccaneers. He also enjoyed family vacations to Daytona Beach and Boca Grande. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A memorial service is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on December 7 th at Brandon Cremation & Funeral Services, 106 Rolling Hills Blvd, Valrico, FL.
