Nacido el 9 de Abril de 1956 en Santiago, República Dominicana, Tomas fue un querido esposo, padre, abuelo, hermano, sobrino y amigo. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Ana Cabrera; su hija, Ida Davis; y su hijo, Juan C. Lopez. También deja atrás a su yerno Brian Davis y a su nuera Lisbeth Lopez, junto con sus queridos nietos, Liliana Rodriguez, Kevin Rodriguez, Jaden Lopez y Denzel Lopez. Tomas dedicó su vida a su pasión por la ingeniería mecánica y trabajó como mecánico de mantenimiento, especializándose en la automatización de líneas de ensamblaje.
