Barbara Parrish 10/12/1943 - 04/02/2023 Parrish, Barbara J. 79, joined her late husband Fred Parrish in peace, April 2 nd 2023 at home with her family by her side. Born outside of Indianapolis, Indiana on October 12 th 1943 to the late James and Rosemary Lones. Barbara and her family moved to Lakeland, Fl when she was a teen. It didn’t take long for her to become a true “Southern gal”. She truly enjoyed quilting and sewing, making beautiful quilts for family and friends. If you ever spoke to Barbara on the phone, you probably could hear her chickens in the background. She also enjoyed working in her butterfly garden. Barbara worked as a legal secretary for Cason & Henderson for many years before merging with Holland & Knight spanning her career more than 55 years. Barbara is survived by her son Allen Parrish (Mark); her daughter Joyce Lindsey (Robert) and granddaughter Caryn Childers; one brother John Lones of Jacksonville, Fl and one sister Jill Lones of Zephyrhills, Fl. As per Barbara’s request, there will be no services.
