Catherine Blackburn

Catherine Blackburn 10/22/1958- 02/07/2024 With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Catherine L. Blackburn, 65, from Zephyrhills, FL. Cathy, as she was affectionately known, departed this world on February 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished forever. Cathy found joy in the simple things, especially in spending precious moments with her family. She was the kind of person who'd drop everything to lend a hand, anytime, anywhere. She's now reunited with her beloved husband, Harley, and her dear mother, Mary (Hoskins) Sharp, along with her brothers Patrick Sharp and Carl Haight, and sisters Alice Ceprish, Bonnie Isaacs, Jean Marie Ridinger, and Judith Daniels. Cathy leaves behind a loving family: sons Robbie Blackburn (and his wife Cherie), Charles Blackburn, daughter Melinda Casella (and husband Chris), and her four grandchildren - Colby, Brianna, Larissa, and Stella - who were her pride and joy. She's also survived by her sister Nora Sharp, former daughter-in-law Angela, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who were touched by her warmth and generosity. Cathy's love knew no bounds, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. While she may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Rest peacefully, Cathy, knowing you were dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
