Maquita Anna Lillard 10/03/1954- 02/03/2024 Maquita Anna Lillard was born October 3rd, 1954 in Norfolk, VA. She was the oldest of four girls. She was called home to God on Saturday, Februrary 3rd, 2024 in the early morning in Brandon, FL. Maquita was a wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1973. She also had a long career as an administrator in banking and insurance. She retired in 2019. One of Maquita's favorite things were elephants. She had a large collection of elephant figurines. She would always say elephants are smart and they never forget. She'd tell us that she'd never forget either. Maquita will never be forgotten. Maquita is survived by and will always be remembered by her loving family. Her daughter Vitina Lillard-Moss, son Raymond Lillard, grandchildren Trois Lillard and Bridgett Moss, and always her best friend, loving husband of 50 years, Hermon Lillard. We celebrate the beautiful life of Maquita Lillard. Not saying goodbye but see you later. Maquita has touched so many lives and hearts. She will be honored as a strong, independent, loving, nurturing, beautiful, honest soul. Her memory will forever carry on through her family and friends.
