Christopher Mitchell 04/26/1971- 03/15/2024 Mitchell, Christopher S., 52 of Tampa passed away on March 15, 2024. He was born on April 26. 1971 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Ken and Judith Mitchell. He was raised in Pensacola, FL, where he graduated from Escambia County High School. He joined the United States Navy in 1989, serving his 4-year enlistment aboard the USS Carl Vinson and the USS Kitty Hawk. He then joined the Hillsborough County Sheriff's, where he retired with 26 years of service. After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, golfing and fishing. Chris is survived by his children, Anessa (Cody), Ashlynn and Noah. His grandchildren, Greyson, Beckett and Lenna. His parents, Ken and Judy, his brothers Brian, Jason (Jewel) and Stephen (Jamie) and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22 at 12pm, Overflow Church, Valrico, FL.
