Earl Hilton Wesner September 9, 1944 – July 26, 2023 WESNER, Earl H., 78, of Valrico FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, quietly at home. His wings were ready, but our hearts were not. He was born September 9, 1944, to the late Earl J. and Martha L (Jacobus) Wesner, in Key West FL, and had been a resident of Valrico since 1991. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy & U.S. Air Force. He was a HVAC-R technician by trade but was forever a handyman/tinkerer, wanting to know how it worked or how it could be improved. He enjoyed motorcycles, was a Life Member of HOG and a Charter Member of the Old Town HOG Chapter in Brandon FL. He also enjoyed amateur radio, holding an Extra Class License, woodworking and keeping up on world affairs. Always gathering more input from whatever source(s) available. He was always willing to share his knowledge with anyone wanting to learn. He lived life to the fullest, always up for a new adventure. He is survived by his wife of 38 yrs., Barbara J. Wesner; daughter, Dawn M. Coutts, Pottsville PA; son, Scott A. Wesner, Valrico, Fla.; sisters, Caryn L. Stolarik, Hawthorne, N.J., Judy A. (and Hugh) McElroy, Aubrey TX, 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
