Margen "Margie" Gray January 2nd, 1950 - August 10th, 2023 Margen “Margie” Gray (Ramos), 73, beloved Wife and Mother, sadly passed away peacefully on August 10 th , 2023. She was a resident of Valrico. FL. Margie was born on January 2 nd , 1950 in San German, Cuba to Ubaldo and Adela Ramos. The family immigrated to the United States in 1957 residing in Bridgeport, Connecticut. After High School, she joined the US Navy, where she served for 3 years and met the love of her life, Bruce Gray. Bruce and Margie were married for 52 years and have lived in Athens, Greece, Chillicothe, Ohio, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Charleston, South Carolina, Greenwood, South Carolina, Fort Mill, South Carolina, and Valrico, Florida. She was also a Special Education Teacher for over 30 years, finally retiring in 2014 from Plant City High School. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ubaldo and Adela Ramos and her Brother, Omar Ramos. She is survived by: her devoted husband, Bruce Gray of Valrico, FL; her children, including daughter, Candace Manzella of Valrico, FL, her son, Michael Gray of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Sophia Manzella of Valrico, FL and Carter Gray of Tampa, FL; and her brothers, John Ramos of Milford, Connecticut and Robert “Bobby” Ramos of Greenwood, South Carolina. We will celebrate her life with family and friends on Friday, August 25 th , 2023 from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Services at 106 Rolling Hills Blvd, Valrico, FL 33594.
