ELSIE ELIZABETH RINGLED 07/02/1939 - 12/21/2024 Elsie Elizabeth Ringled, 85, passed away peacefully on Dec. 21, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 2, 1939, to Isabelle and Paul Coffman in Gary, Indiana. She graduated from Lew Wallace High School and married Samuel Ringled on May 28, 1957. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister (Mildred Coffman), granddaughter (Laurie Mainellis), and great-grandson (Noah Vander Laat). She is survived by her son, Robert (Janie) Ringled (Temple Terrace, FL), and daughters, Cynthia Mainellis (DON) and Paula Hernstrom (Brandon, FL); five grandchildren, Robert (Bubba) Mainellis (Marcella), Samantha Enzor (Chris), Donnie Mainellis (Hannah), Brittany Hernstrom (Tom), and Dana Lescallett; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Beloved nieces, Lori Manushaw (Jack), Cheryl Passe, and their children; cousin Collette Brandt (Indiana), along with numerous other family members, friends, and caring neighbors. Elsie enjoyed lifelong, forever friendships with her besties, Lynn Vance (whom on most occasions she spoke with at least three times a day), Carol House, and Carol Dopiriak. In the past two years, Wilbur Westbrook went the distance to make her happy as they traveled, shopped, went camping, danced, dined, and watched TV (when she could finally land on a program). Retired from Winn-Dixie after 30 years to pursue part-time employment in the Hillsborough County School System. Elsie built her life around her family and valued them as her greatest blessing. She carried on traditions passed down from her parents and took on the role of matriarch of the family. Elsie lived life to its fullest. Even though she shared there was so much more she wanted to do, we take comfort knowing that pales in comparison to the joys that she is experiencing in her new home in the presence of Jesus and reunited with her loved ones. She will be greatly missed but always remembered and carried in the hearts of all who loved her. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” —1 Corinthians 2:9
