Jeanne Bowman

Jeanne Bowman Feb 17, 1958 - July 6, 2021 Loving mother, grandmother, and friend Obituary On July 6 at 5:38pm, Jeanne Bowman, beloved mother of three, grandmother, and sister passed away at age 63 in Tampa, Florida of lung cancer. Jeanne was born on February 17, 1958 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Betty (Gillespie) and Arby Bowman. She modeled and dreamed of going to baking school in Paris and being a famous figure skater. She raised two daughters, Amy and Amanda, and a son, Anthony. She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio as a child and later Tampa, Florida. Jeanne had a passion for home cooking; she loved to out-do restaurants and prove she could cook a menu item better, except for pizza, which she believed to be the only item that couldn’t be cooked better at home. On holidays, Jeanne would prepare a cornucopia of food to celebrate and the family would gather round to eat. Jeanne also loved to crochet and started a side business, where she masterfully craft baby shoes, hats, blankets, etc. and would take them to the local flea market to sell them. She would often crochet color schemed blankets to gift to her family. Aside from her family, Jeanne had a deep fondness for animals and would often say that her pets: Max, Christmas, Booboo, and Daisy would always live in her heart. She was known for her spicy attitude and her deeply compassionate and loving soul. Jeanne was proceeded in death by her mother, Betty, and father, Arby. She is survived by her three children, Amy, Anthony, and Amanda, her brother Jimmy, her grandchildren, Gavin, Jordan, Devinn, Cassidy, Frank, Jacob, Anthony, Morgan, and Gabriel, and great grandchildren Peyton and Caysonn, as well as her best friend Barry Nattress.
