Johnnie Buford Harrell

Johnnie Buford Harrell April 18, 1932 - April 9, 2022 Loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Johnnie Buford Harrell, 89, loved farming strawberries, fishing, frying fish (well, frying just about anything), and gathering with friends and family. He served in the US Army and was inducted into the FSGA Farmers’ Hall of Fame in 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Totsie (formerly Claville) and his parents, JB and Vellan Harrell. He is survived by his children, Mark (Sue), David (Bonny), and Laure (Chris), his brother Gary (Lala), four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Florida Strawberry Growers Association on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with lunch being served at 1:30 PM. Bring a dish if you would like and please come if you can (dish or not).
