Leanne Marie Cardello (64) July 21, 1958 - November 24, 2022  On Thanksgiving day, Leanne passed away at the age of sixty-four. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Nicholas Frank Cardello and Norma Jean Patterson. Few things brought Leanne more joy than spending time with her grandchildren both in person and on Facetime. In her youth she loved spending time at the Indiana Dunes. Later her love of nature led her to become an Americorp volunteer in the Florida state parks. She also loved history becoming a docent at Cracker Country at the Florida State Fair Grounds. Leanne had a lifelong career in the service industry both in food service and as an EMT. She is survived by her mother, Norma Harris (Patterson) - Brandon, FL, daughters: Jessica DeCaro - Sawyer, MI, Sara DeCaro - Michigan City, IN, and Neva McGriff (Peacock) - Lithia, FL, sister: Laura Cardello - Sumter, SC, brother: Nicholas Todd Cardello - Brandon, FL, grandchildren: Isaiah DeCaro, Aubrey DeCaro, Taegan McGriff, Matthew McGriff, Leah Nicole McGriff, Johnathan David McGriff, great-grandchild: Jaxon DeCaro; nephews & niece: Patrick Niswonger, Aaron Niswonger, and Olivia Tucker. She is preceded in death by her son - Daniel DeCaro, Jr., father - Nicholas Frank Cardello, stepfather - Frank R. Harris, brother - Robert Frank Cardello and brother-in-law - Michael Tucker.
