Myriam Estelritz O’Neill

Myriam Estelritz O’Neill December 14, 1930 - December 8, 2022 Myriam Estelritz O’Neill passed away, December 8, 2022, with her family by her side in Plant City, Florida. A mass service will be held at St. Stephen Catholic Church, in the chapel, located in Riverview, Florida. The mass is scheduled for Saturday, January 21st, 2023, at 11:00a.m. Myriam was born December 14, 1930, in San Juan, Puerto Rico to her mother, Lola. Her mother was a tailor and a driving instructor. Lola lived in Puerto Rico all her life. Myriam attended a catholic boarding school in Puerto Rico along with her brother, Falo. Myriam became a successful real estate agent. And her brother, Falo, appointed a judge in the superior court of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Myriam married her husband, Pepin Ramos. Pepin was an accomplished sales representative for the Ford car company. Myriam and Pepin had two sons, Jose, and Roberto Ramos Estelritz. Myriam was a devoted working mother. She attended some college and published a book of poetry. Myriam enjoyed being an active in the catholic church, traveling, hosting parties and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Myriam’s son, Roberto died at the age of 21, while studying at the University in Seville Spain. Jose, Roberto’s older brother, was in the Navy, stationed in Rota, Spain and married his wife, Francisca Rodriguez. They had two children, Miguel Angel, and Myriam Taina Ramos. Myriam was married to Pepin for approximately forty years. Pepin died in 1985 and she later married Eddie Lugo Falcon in 1990. They had been married for over twenty-five years. Myriam enjoyed giving her time to the Catholic Church and was active in her community. She was a eucharistic minister and she delivered communion to the sick. She gave much of her time by helping others in need, by bringing food and offering support. She was a devoted, catholic parishioner. She attended mass regularly and prayed the rosary several times per day. She was proficiently bilingual in Spanish and English. She was a loving, intelligent, and beautiful woman, inside and out. She loved God, Mary (mother of Jesus), and was a believer of the trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. She loved life and looked forward to the afterlife in heaven, with God, The Father. She was deeply involved in her Catholic Faith in God. She loved to dance, sing and was a comic personality. She loved to laugh. She was a great listener and comforter and a peacemaker. She also enjoyed cooking and serving others. She was a person who respected others and transcended humility to others. She was God’s disciple and worked towards passing on the light of Jesus Christ. Upon the birth of Myriam’s great grandson, 2012, Julian Daschke, her spirit was renewed with light, joy, and great love. She spent as much time as she could with him. She was renewed in God’s spirit because of the love Julian always provided to her and the world. Myriam and her husband, Eddie lived in Puerto Rico most of their lives. They moved to Florida in December 2015 to be closer to family. On March 7, 2016, Eddie passed away. Myriam Estelritz O’Neill is survived by her son, Jose Ramos Estelritz; his wife, Francisca Ramos Estelritz; two grandchildren, Miguel Angel Ramos, and Myriam Taina Daschke; along with Myriam Taina Daschke’s husband, Christopher John Daschke; and finally, the love of her life, great-grandson, Julian Dior Daschke.
