Shirley Ann Vincent 11/10/1957 - 07/19/2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shirleyann Vincent, who departed from this world on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was a towering beacon of love, strength, and kindness to all who knew her. As a devoted wife, nurturing mother, and cherished friend, she touched countless lives with her compassion and selflessness. Shirleyann was born on Sunday, November 10, 1957, to Carl and Theresa De Souza in Trinidad, West Indies. She was the second of their four children; Bernardo who predeceased her, Karen and Frank. From an early age, she displayed an unwavering dedication to her family, which she continued throughout her life. Her love knew no bounds and she always put the needs of her loved ones before her own. Shirleyann, she was the epitome of patience, guiding her children with a gentle hand and providing unwavering support in every endeavor. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and love, where laughter and joy were abundant. She instilled in her children the values of love, compassion, and resilience. Shirley had a zest for life and an infectious smile that brightened any room she entered. She loved cooking and baking and was known for her bake and saltfish, peas and rice, and black cake…which she shared with anyone around. Her passion for gardening and decorating allowed her to create beautiful landscapes that were a reflection of her nurturing spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be cherished by her devoted husband Hubert Vincent Jr., her loving children, Natalie, Kevin, daughter-in-law Nabiha, her adoring grandchildren, Brittyn, Ava and welcoming soon, Miles and her mother-in-law Julie Vincent. She will also be dearly missed by her surviving mother Theresa, brother Frank, sister Karen, brother-in-law Francisco, sister-in-law Cherylann Booker, brother-in-law Jeffery Booker, and her vast extended family and friends. As we bid farewell to our beloved mother, let us remember the immeasurable impact she had on our lives. Though she is no longer physically with us, her love will forever reside in our hearts. We find solace in the beautiful memories we created together and take comfort knowing that she is watching over us from above. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Shirleyann Vincent will be held on July 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Nativity Catholic Church.
