Thomas Marshall Palmer July 27, 1955 - July 27, 2021 Loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend On Tuesday July 27, 2021, Thomas Marshall Palmer of Dover, Florida passed away unexpectedly of Covid-19 on his 66th birthday. Thomas was born to Mae Dean and Thomas Palmer on July 27,1955 in Plant City, Florida. He graduated from Plant City High School in 1974 and went on to have a long career as a Locomotive Engineer at Port Sutton. In 1987 he became a father to his only daughter Sarah. He was an excellent father and very proud grandpa. In his spare time he enjoyed going for walks or riding his bike down his childhood street. His favorite place to relax was sitting at the beach. His smile, sense of humor, and comforting presence will be greatly missed by many. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Mae Dean and Thomas Palmer. He is survived by his daughter Sarah Palmer and granddaughter Aubree Helms of Morristown, Tennessee. He has one brother Leonard Palmer and two sisters Linda Stokes and LaVerne (Vernie) Johnson as well as many other loving nieces and nephews. Due to the rising cases in covid-19 there will be no immediate service. The family will do a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Thomas's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
