Joyce Elaine Fritz, 81, entered eternal rest on March 11th, 2025, in Brandon, Florida. Joyce was born on April 24th, 1943, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, to Walter Donald Sandt and Hazel Loretta (Kintz) Sandt. Joyce married James Allen Fritz on December 28th, 1963, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and spent 60 beautiful years together. They were blessed with two children: SueAnn (Fritz) Irish and Michael James Fritz. Joyce is an alumnus of East Stroudsburg High School. She moved to Key West, Florida, where her husband was stationed for four years in the Navy where they welcomed their first child. She then returned to Pennsylvania, where she and her husband raised their two children and watched their grandchildren grow. She and her husband later retired to Florida, where they spent the remainder of their lives. Joyce was a warm soul who made an impression on many lives. She enjoyed her time as a Girl Scout leader and working for the Teddy Bear store. Her most precious moments were spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved cooking for her family and was renowned for her recipes, which her daughter and granddaughters try to recreate. She enjoyed NASCAR and cheering on her Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Joyce is survived by her children, SueAnn (Fritz) Irish and Michael Fritz; her granddaughters, Jessica Irish, Ashley Irish, and Madison Fritz; and her great-granddaughter, Addison Fluck. She is additionally survived by her siblings, Irma (Sandt) Hoffner and Donald Sandt. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Fritz, and her parents, Walter Sandt and Hazel (Kintz) Sandt. Joyce will be missed by many and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and Nana. The family finds peace knowing she is now at rest with her cherished husband. The family will be holding a private memorial service where she and her husband’s cremains will return to their home and be buried together with their family at the Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Joanne Sophie (Saltsgiver) Heald was born on July 8, 1954 in Spangler, Pennsylvania to William E. and Ruth C. (Watt) Saltsgiver. She passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025 at the age of 70 in Brandon, FL, after battling breast cancer for the second time. Joanne grew up in Mooresville, Indiana and later moved to Hermitage, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Hickory High School class of 1972. She enlisted in the Air Force in 1973. On her first deployment to Incirlik AFB, Turkey, she met John J. Heald. They were later married in Jacksonville, Florida on January 13, 1976. She separated from the Air Force in 1982, but remained in the reserves until 1986. As a military family, they were stationed in California, England, Oklahoma, Texas, Italy and finally in MacDill AFB, Florida settling permanently in Brandon, Florida. Joanne obtained an Associates of Arts degree at Hillsborough Community College in 1998, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for 22 years. Joanne enjoyed reading which she passed the joy of reading down to her daughters, baking, and traveling. Some of her most requested baked goods were her mother’s Easter egg recipe, Rolo cookies and her famous cinnamon rolls. Joanne also enjoyed all of the arts and crafts, mastering many, but was most notably known for crochet and quilting. Over a span of many years, she made 100’s of baby blankets and quilts for friends and family. She loved all kinds of knick knacks and on her travels would return with a favorite souvenir or two. Joanne is survived by her loving and caring husband of 49 years of marriage, John J. Heald; daughters Jaime Wynn of Valrico, Florida, Janice (Adam) Riggio of Winter Park, Florida; grandsons Matthew and Kobey Wynn; and grand-dogs Sansa and Ben Wynn, and Raven and Kelsa Riggio. She was survived by siblings: Susan Robins, Louise Plunkett, Linda Dudzenski, Louis Saltsgiver, and Robert Saltsgiver. She was also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and countless family friends. She was preceded in death by her father William E. Saltsgiver, her mother Ruth C. (Watt) Saltsgiver, and her brother William E. Saltsgiver Jr. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to either a favorite charity, breast cancer society, Zoo Tampa, or LifePath Hospice Sun City Center Hospice House where final care for her was provided. The family has planned a viewing where anyone who would like to come say their final farewells is more than welcome to attend. Please dress casual and good memories to share.

Sharon Marie (Majeski) Rice was born on December 10, 1952, in Bad Axe, Michigan, to Genevieve and Eugene Majeski. She passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the age of 72 in Brandon, Florida, after battling cancer. Sharon lived in Port Huron and the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, for much of her teen and adult years. She married Ronald Rice on April 28, 1973, in Port Huron, Michigan. The couple retired to Brandon, Florida, in 2000, where they built their dream home. She worked as a travel agent, which allowed her and Ron to travel extensively before suffering a stroke about 16 years ago that limited her mobility. Sharon then found joy in studying gemology, learning about various natural stones and how they were used in jewelry. She also found hours of enjoyment shopping online during her more sedentary days. Together with the joys and all the challenges that Sharon experienced in her life, her family and faith brought immeasurable happiness to her life. She is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Ronald Rice; daughters Kristilee (Majeski) Moeller (Frank) of Hamilton, Ohio, Stacey Rice of Brandon, Florida, and Ronda Rice of Gladwin, Michigan; several grandchildren, Correy (Michelle), Chevelle (Recie), Jeremya (Taylor), Austin (Alexis), Hunter, and Blayne; great grandchildren Wyatt, Cash, Emmylou, Espn, Ezra, Wade, Nova Jane, Ilyah, and Zeland. She was also survived by two sisters, Dianne (Jeff Quam) and Denise Vanoni, and five brothers, Gregory (Donna), Conrad, Dan, Doug, and James Majeski. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Majeski (2012), mother, Genevieve Majeski (2024), niece Angelina Majeski-Bauer, her maternal grandparents, Laura and Leo Kulish, paternal grandparents, Agnes and Felix Majeski, and several aunts and uncles. A private service with the family is being planned.

Lorna Eames July 8, 1960 – March 25, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lorna Eames, who left this world on March 25, 2025, at the age of 64. Lorna was a compassionate soul, a devoted mother, a loving daughter and sister, and a dedicated nurse who touched countless lives with her kindness and care. Born on July 8, 1960, to Stan (Alma) Farmwald and Mary Jane Stratton, Lorna grew up with a deep sense of compassion and an unwavering dedication to helping others. She carried these qualities into her career, spending much of her life as a nurse at Miller’s Merry Manor, Naphcare, and Origin Home Healthcare. Beyond her work in healthcare, Lorna was also a gifted writer and a published author, leaving behind a legacy of words that will continue to inspire. Lorna’s greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Melissa (Chris) Hurd and Allyson Eames, and a cherished sister to Curtis Farmwald and Angie Andrews. Her warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. A celebration of Lorna’s life will be held on July 8th at Harvest Community Church Goshen, IN from 4-7pm with a sharing of stories at 5pm. On March 15, 2025, Dalton Austin Roe (Twitch) gained his wings at the age of 31. He was born Feb 5, 1994. Dalton’s love was motorcycles, he loved to do stunts on them. He enjoyed fishing and BMX bicycle riding and doing stunts and teaching his son Kayden to do stunts and wheelies as well. He loved his jobs, his Daddy Charlie taught him how to be a mechanic. But his true passion was doing Tree Service like his Grandpa Stan. Dalton was a very fun loving, Son, Father, Grandson, Brother and etc… Dalton was survived by his Son, Kayden, Daughter Livin, Mother Vernita & Charlie, His Father John & Channon and his Siblings, Tawnie Shea, Seandra, Jessica, Erin, John Charles “JC”, Shane, Clay. Grandparents Vicki & Bruce, Nephews: Wyatt, Mason, Max, Niece: Emmy & Loving Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Dalton was preceded in Death by Grandfather Stan Workman, Grandmother Linda Herrington, Daughter Angel Baby Roe, Nephew Baby Lane. Ira Melvin Williams Sr. was born on March 30, 1954, and passed away on March 10, 2025. He was born in Ft. Myers, Florida to Dora Edith Cartright and Ira McCullen Williams. Ira was previously married to Cody Baker and had two beautiful children: Ira Melvin Williams Jr. and Stephen Robert Williams. On March 24, 1982, Ira married Diana and also accepted her three children: Sheila, Tammy, and John. They were a family of seven that shared lots of love, kindness, joy, and happiness. Ira was faithful to his family and was always there to help in any way possible. The love and support for his family and friends was endless. Ira had a passion for flowers and plants that was introduced to him by his grandfather when he was a young boy. He would treat each plant with so much love and care, that each one bloomed with flowers and gave him and others such happiness and fulfillment. Ira was a “Jack of all trades” and a master of all. No matter what job or task Ira was confronted with, he was patient and persisted in fixing it. His knowledge and talents were learned from hands-on experience. He was a very hard worker at any task he performed. His endurance at times seemed endless. He always tried to share that knowledge with his children and grandchildren. Ira leaves behind his wife Diana, his Mom Edith; sons: Ira (April), Stephen, and John (preceded in death); daughters: Sheila (Chuck) and Tammy; Grandchildren: Chloe, Ira III, Ryan, Michelle (Marco), Robert, John, Isabella, Shelby (Dustyn), Wesley, Nathan and Breanna; brothers: Jack (Cadillac), Bobby, Roy (preceded in death) and Stephen (preceded in death); sisters: Paula (Dale) and Kate (Rex); many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Great grandchildren: Karsyn (preceded in death), Kamryn, Ava, Roman, and Julius. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends.

Johnny Wayne Griffin was born on October 4, 1951, in Tampa, Florida, to Bernice Capps and Robert Griffin. He attended King High School in Tampa, Florida. Johnny had a deep love for fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors, but above all, he cherished his family. He was one of four siblings, including Mary, Richard, Doug, and Allen Griffin. Johnny is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: Shelia Wise of Weeki Wachee Roy and Amanda Griffin of Spring Hill Jessica Newcomb of Michigan Amanda Bates of Riverview David, Jenny, Chris, Madison, Brody, Alaza, Dawson, and Isaiah Joe and Jerri of Spring Hill, Florida Gracie, Cindy, Sue, Gabriel, and Chandler of Michigan Isaiah Kumor, Trey Chattin, Olivia Pawelczak, and Anthony Herrera of Riverview, Florida Faith Kumor-Zaeske, Gabriel McCune, Skarlet & Jeramiah Zaeske, and Angelina Kumor of Hudson Elijah Kumor of Enid, Oklahoma Savannah of Spring Hill He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as Cheyenne Demorrow, Richard, Doug, and Allen Griffin, and Dixie Silliman. Johnny will be truly missed by his entire family, including his fiancée of 25 years, Mary Bates of Riverview, Florida.

Edward (Mark) Marcus Oglesby, 80, passed away peacefully on February 3rd 2025. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Claudia. He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Lori (Scott), and is survived by his youngest daughter, Lisa (Matt). He was a cherished grandfather to Mallori (Ryan), Emily (Aaron), Elisabeth, and Jackson, and great-grandfather to Lainey and Riley. He was also a proud and loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Mark held many roles throughout his life, none were as important to him as being a grandfather. He was a constant source of love and support for his grandchildren, cheering them on in all their pursuits. From theater and dance to sports and beyond, they are impacted daily by his “MO-isms”. His influence was subtle, yet profound, shaping the lives of those around him. He will always be remembered for his sharp mind and quick wit. He honorably served for 22 years in the United States Air Force. His dedication to our country was undeniable. It was a defining aspect of his life and character. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
